Hope Valley Adventure Film Festival (HVAFF)

Adventure film festival, fun activities, food and drink at Hope Valley College, Hope, Derbyshire.

CANCELLED – Sheffield Adventure Film Festival (ShAFF)

CANCELLED – (was Fri 20 – Sun 22 March, 2020)
Showroom Cinema and other locations in Sheffield.
An annual adventure film festival including mountain biking. Why not try the ‘Winnat’s in a Minute‘ virtual challenge to raise money for trail maintenance projects in the Peak District.

***UPDATE 17th March 2020***

In light of the most up-to-date Government advice, and following guidance from the UK Cinema Association, the Showroom Cinema has taken the decision to close from Wednesday 18 March and all film screenings are cancelled.

The ShAFF event will hopefully be held in the autumn. For the latest info check the ShAFF website:

POSTPONED – British Heart Foundation Peak District Mountain Bike Challenge

Our 2018 event of the year, this fundraising XC challenge set in the Hope Valley now has three technical and non-technical routes to choose from, ranging from  37 to 69km.

CANCELLED – Steel City Downhill

An annual fund-raising downhill race on a short track in Greno Woods near Sheffield, now in its tenth year. A great fun event for both riders and spectators.

Steel Valley Ride

Sat 18th July, 2020
Tickets on sale now for this deservedly popular sell-out event. A 31-mile ride which starts and finishes at Trek Sheffield, in Stocksbridge. Entries are limited to 150 places.
