We’ve had a single sprinkle of snow so far this season over the Peak District but we’re not letting the rainy conditions get in the way of us thinking festive. And with our festive feeling we’re pleased to share with you our 2020 Christmas card, with a picture courtesy of supporter Kevin Haywood. Thanks to those of you who submitted photos – there were some stunners.
“It’s fair to say 2020 has been a funny one for all of us – and for us here in Peak District MTB there has been a frustrating pause on some of our favourite activities; volunteer days, making plans with landowners…even riding our bikes together – all of that has been affected.
“But as we take a much needed pause for Christmas, we begin to look forward to a New Year which holds more promise for us picking things up again and working hard – as much as bunch of volunteers can – to improve access and perception of mountain bikers across the Peak.
“And that’s for next year. Right now, we have a few days of Christmas. A few days of enjoying those friends, family or others we can see; a few days of quiet rides on tinsel adorned bikes on muddy trails.
“So enjoy. Have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. See you online and on the trails.”
