Peak District mountain bike events for 2026

Here’s our overview of mountain bike related in events in and around the Peak District in 2023. If you’re an event organiser and would like your event to be listed here, please email us.


Peaks Enduro MTB Series (Focus Rides)

The format is intentionally inclusive and fun, using a mash‑up enduro style with multiple timed downhill stages and untimed transitions, with categories spanning youth to 50+ and EMTB options. The events will provide 500 spaces for entries, with 1000 spaces available at the Nationals event. Published event listings for the 2026 calendar are:

  • Round 1 – Barlow: 29 March 2026
  • Round 2 – Barlow: 25 April (Ladies & Kids / U15 Boys), 26 April (Mens race)
  • Round 3 – Barlow: 23–24 May 2026
  • Round 4 – Hope Valley (BNES Round): 20–21 June 2026
  • Round 5 – Horseleygate (est.): 19 July 2026

Sheffield Adventure Film Festival (ShAFF)

An annual adventure film festival including mountain biking.

Steel City Downhill

5th September 2026
An annual fund-raising downhill race on a short track in Greno Woods north of Sheffield. A great fun event for both riders and spectators.

Calder Divide Trail Challenge

19-20th September 2026
The Calder Divide Trail Challenge is a bike-packing event focused around Huddersfield and including some of the very north of Peak District, with approximately 70% off-road

The Red Rat Rampage

Sunday 20th September 2026
Three challenging mountain bike rides starting from Eyam, in the White Peak, organised by and supporting Eyam Pump Track Club.
