Our Cut Gate Raffle draw was hosted live on Facebook last night, raising an amazing £1,700 for the Cut Gate Mend Our Mountains campaign!
Our very own Chris Maloney was a natural in front of the Facebook Live camera. The prize stash was huge and Chris did a great job introducing the prizes and announcing the lucky winners. See below for who won what, or catch up via our Facebook Live video.
We’ve been driving the Cut Gate initiative for nearly two years alongside Ride Sheffield (you can read how it all started here). The support and collaboration from others in the outdoors – be it the BMC, horse riders and walkers – has been great! Thanks to those in particular who supported our efforts by buying raffle tickets, organising amazing fundraising events or simply throwing some money in the Cut Gate pot. We’ve made good progress towards the £75,000 target, but there’s still plenty to raise. Spread the word and get your friends, family and colleagues throwing in a couple of quid and we’ll soon be there.
